The Foundation was established in 
2000 to financially support the residents of The Village of Winston Park. Our Foundation raises funds to provide enhancements, which significantly improve the daily quality of life among our residents.
MISSION STATEMENT
To promote financial support for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life and well being of the residents of Winston Park by way of identified projects, and of senior citizens in the Region of Waterloo through health care research.
The Village of Winston Park is a unique continuum of care facility serving the elderly in the Region of Waterloo. Winston Park provides a caring "home and community" for 95 Nursing Home, 170 Retirement Home and 50 independent condominium/ apartment residents. Winston Park provides holistic health care for seniors in a home-like environmental, located within an internal neighbourhood facility design that promotes a caring community, with emphasis on health, individuality, independence, and ongoing life purpose for each resident.
FOUNDATION PROJECTS
The Foundation currently has two Fundraising Projects on the go, which include:
1. Alzheimer Horticulture Therapy Centre for our Long Term Care, Special Care Unit
2. University of Waterloo-Winston Park Research Partnership Program
(for research into health care for the elderly).
