"I've been a business owner all my life, and I've always enjoyed the challenges and rewards that come with it. Even though I'm not running a business anymore, helping out in the general store is a way for me to stay connected to that world and to continue doing something that I love."
Brian’s Leyes opened his own pizza business in 1962 and he dedicated his life to running it. Life takes many turns, however, and due to complex care needs, Brian moved to Taunton Mills in 2016, where he soon found himself helping out at the general store.
Brian's passion for business provides a sense of purpose and the opportunity to interact with people. He believes everyone should pursue their passions and live with no regrets. Brian continues to find joy in helping others through his work at the general store and his wisdom is a reminder that following your passions, no matter where you are in life, can bring you a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
