Julie Trip | Pursuit of Passions

"Cultivating a passion for puppetry and photography has allowed me to connect with people in ways I never thought possible. It has brought joy and inspiration to my life, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions, no matter their age."

Julie Trip discovered her love for puppetry when she was 19 and made her first marionette, the "Sadface Clown." She taught puppetry at a summer camp, sparking the imagination of the children she inspired. She also learned photography from her father and loved showcasing her travels and the world around her.

She has brought joy and wonder to children and seniors alike through puppet shows and photography presentations and found a renewed sense of purpose in sharing her passion with others. Her advice to those with a passion is to pursue it without delay, as she did not expect to be showing her photographs to a public audience at the age of 85.
